RMVX [Vehicle Problem]

hey guys i had a problem with this, i can't make the PLAYER talk to the NPC then let him ride/mount the vehicle, why is that?

Steps done:
1.Made an NPC
-allows you to choose if you wanna ride the boat
-saying yes (getting on/off vehicle-mount vehicle command)
*problem: it won't mount the player to the vehicle*
2.The Vehicle Event
-placed below the NPC on the shore (water)
-also has an event of Mount Vehicle
*problem: Nothing happens*

okay how do i do it? what events should i do between the two?

Try changing the event graphic to (none) and setting the passibility to through.

Gah, you probably didn't set your choices correctly. If you take a screenshot of your events, that would help a ton. Try what Yeyinde said, but I doubt it's that.

okay instead i just made the event NPC to move away,
