Ok, so I can set the default battle effects to 0; radial_blur, wave_length, wave_speed, wave_amplitude, and what I get is a battle system very similar to Lufia - and the Fotress of Doom! It was hidden. However, the overworld map I'm fighting on still looks blurred, and such. I've turned off the use of the Battlefloor so it doesn't overlay the maps battle ground causing the large shadow.
Q -
How is it possible to make the battle's under-map so that it is just as nice looking in battle, as it is while walking on the map out of battle? How do you turn off that extra blur? Radial Blur is set to 0 so there must be some other filtering going on, maybe the bitmap.stretch_blt is causing a stretch?
The thing is, I'd like to use the system that way cause' it is cool. After I realized the VX battle system just looked like a funky swirly confrontation room with psychedelic tendencies that covered up the Lufia rip-off system. (JK.. get a laugh) Even when I played Lufia I thought it was a cool system. Simple really. I'm still new to scripting, I never used it much with XP either, other than a few default script edits.
Thanks anyone.
