RMVX to RMXP Conversions

Here is a photobucket album with the conversions I have done, converting RMVX resources back to RMXP. These are only the resources available in the Japanese trial and do not reflect the entire contents of the RTP.

There are currently 22 autotiles in the Photobucket album, and below is a link to the tileset which is not 100% complete yet. I just realized I missed a few ground textures.

The water autotiles and such will go up later tonight.

Looks good, I might play with them tonight to get my mind off of finals. I like the tiles from the RTP (even thought I REALL HATE the characters).

They are. They're not using traditional pixelling or palettes, they're using an "airbrush" effect. Admittedly it's very nice, but it's very difficult for people to pull off, especially since a lot of people jump straight to using "blur" and "blend" when they don't have palette constraints.

Mascarpone mentioned Odin Sphere in another thread--an example of a game with gorgeous "airbrush" effects. If people had the will and the skill they could pull it off--just know it's hard as a bitch to make it look good and not just like a Photoshop fart.

Nice work, though, Prexus!

Thanks for the effort, man. This looks gorgeous, but it's kinda hard for anyone to recolour or even edit it. It's not like it's pixellate.

That's very nice! Thanks.

I used your tileset to make a skin test window

But I forgot to download the autotile~ TOT

P.S. Character is from RM95  ;)
