It's finally arrived!

For a while now, we have been supporting RMVX topics, projects, resources, and more in the forums. Now, along with the English release of the program, we're taking that to the next level. Not only are we supporting RMVX, but we're going to be your number one forum for your RMVX needs, in addition to RMXP!

RMVX isn't just an updated version of RMXP, it's a whole new addition to the RPG Maker series! Check out some of the added features that weren't available in RMXP:

I absoltely love certain thing with this, but some things make me want to puke.

It's 50/50.

I personally think it's a far better program if you're the kind of person who likes to create everything custom, especially in the graphics department. The tileset stuff takes a little time to get used to, but if you're creating your own graphics, I think it's actually a little more intuitive. It seems limiting at first, but really how many tiles do you need (especially since now we can view the panorama in the editor screen- this opens up lots of possibilities)?

If you're the kind of person who relies on the RTP and premade resources, though, I'd say that RMXP is the better option for you. It comes down to the approach that you take when you create your games.

Our datacenter just suffered a network outage (totally unrelated to us hosting an RMVX mirror). We're back up now.

This sucks, now the forums will eventually convert to RMVX, like 5% of the forums will be for RMXP, It's true, it's happened with other XP sites with RM2K, Now I'll have to buy RMVX to even come on this site anymore

Um...no? The forums aren't changing, we support them both equally.

If it happens, it won't be for a very long time. The website is still called RMXP, and it will still be the primary focus until the majority of people switch to RMVX.

We'll be supporting RMXP for a very long time, remember that there are many large forums out there that primarily cater to RPG Maker 2000. We're not going to dump RMXP-- I don't understand why you would think that.

But please, by all means, feel free to leave us and find another forum to post on.

They won't have to find another forum, we're accepting both last I heard.

We're not gonna set a time limit: If you don't have VX in 3 months you are banned.  If you want to post resources/scripts do so in under 3 months or your banned.  If you use the name Arshes or Aluxes you are banned.

It will be better if we support both thoroughly.  More traffic equals more ideas and more contributions and more games to play and more people to play your games,  Stop whining.  That and the fact a lot of stuff will be easily interchangeable between the programs.
