RMVX - Full Screen has a fat border.

When I go to testplay any of the RMVX projects and put them in full screen, there is a rather wide border, probably about 15-20% of the screen should be filled more. Do I have to change my actual Monitor resolution (I don't want to do that) or is there a way to set it up in the program?
 
Yeah I noticed this too. It's because the resolution for VX is different. There is already a script out there that will let you change the game's resolution to whatever you want. It's hosted on a pretty well known site too. I'll find it later and post it If I'm not beaten to it.
 
It's supposed to do that. It makes the game appear widescreen. It also is hiding the fact that the game's true resolution is 640x480 (if you resize it to 640x480 using Graphics.resize_screen, and then go into fullscreen, it takes up the entire space).
