RMVX Font trouble

I don't know if it's a version problem , or if its like that.
But I Installed again the RMVX, and all the texts look like "|||||||" !

The texts never actually worked xD, I just wanted to ask if anyone has the same problem.

I installled the fonts, and the thing persists..  :crazy:

It's sooooooo annoying to play like that!

It means you don't have the proper Japanese text files to display the Japanese words. I advise you just wait until it comes out in English, or get the translation .dll.

Did you install Eastern Language support? Control Panel->Regional and Language Options->Languages

And then check, "Install files for East Asian languages".

You'll need your windows disk as well. I'm not sure if that'll resolve your problem but it can't hurt. If it does it'll still be in Japanese but the actual characters, not boxes and lines. So you won't be able to read it most likely.  :lol:

Download and install the English Trial (it's out now), if not, make sure language packs are installed.
