[RMVX] Compression demo problem

I've just spent a few hours in the past two days whipping up a tiny demo to show my friends what this game can do. I compressed the project (about 460kb), and I uploaded it to rapidshare so they could check it out. Problem is, when they unpack the file they get an error that reads: "RGSS202E.dll could not be found."

I've had some version of this game or another for a while now, but I've never finished anything to the point where I could "publish" it like this, so I'm unfamiliar with how to finish it up.

Does this mean that everyone I give a completed game to will have to download the entire RMVX?
Or am I just horribly screwing something up?

Hmm... That doesn't seem efficient at all. :brow:

I'd think the game would just include all files necessary in the compression...
That way it'd be easier to distribute the games, and would get more people into the program by seeing what it is capable of.

I have a lot of midis, graphics, and sound effects I keep in my RTP that are there for different games. If I were trying to distribute my game, would I need to compress my RTP (along with all the files that will never be used), or just give them the means to install their own RTP? If someone could just explain the full publishing process, or point me to a FAQ, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.
