RMVX Broken Switches

Whenever I do a switch operation, I test it out to see if it works. Then my cousin comes over and plays my game. The switch starts at the second event page. Help plz?

You need to be more descriptive; I'm not understanding what the problem is. If your issue resides within two pages of an event, please use Print Screen for both those pages and post them for us to see so that we can resolve your issue more easily.

I had this "bug" here. It's something with RMXP, and when both installed, this switch bug happened in both RM.
Try to unninstall RMXP(if you do have it).

He's using RMVX.

It sounds like you have conditional problems.  The event jumps to the last page possible based on conditions.  Make sure the conditions for the second page aren't satisfied before the player reaches the switch.
