RGSS Player has stopped working???????????????

Ok...I'm trying to run RMXP on Vista. At first it wouldn't work but then I followed the steps from this tutorial: http://www.rmxp.org/forums/index.php?topic=52966.0
and now it works.
Problem now is, when I try to playtest my game I get a message saying RGSS Player has stopped working.
As I'm sure you know there is no point in continueing any of my projects if I can't test what I'm doing. This is so gutting!
Has anybody else had this problem and anyone got any idea what the hell is wrong with it now?!

Would you be willing to post what you did? Because I know for a fact that a lot of people will be pleased to know what causes this error.
