Retiring

I am thinking about retiring from the RPG Maker community. It's been a tough journey. I became known not because of games, but because of who I am as a person. However I have worked on the projects Legend of Dark Chaos, Dark Chaos, and Megaman VX. Hopefully I will finish MegaMan VX someday because it is my dream game because I love MegaMan. I had fun meeting people all over the RPG Maker Community. Some became friends and some became enemies.

I entered the community in late 2008. The first ever forum I joined was RPG RPG Revolution. I was not welcomed there. I was banned for removing my work off of the site. I later join RPG Maker VX Community. However they did not welcome me either. Their admin Pine said racist comments such as all blacks should be salves, and he disliked me. So he decided to ban me because he dislikes me.

A few weeks later I tried to help some friend with their site RPG Web. However things did not workout. The site died within a month's time.

My final adventure was at RPG XP Unlimited. I meet some great people here. This is the first and only site that accepted me. I worked hard for this forum by making resources for it. However I feel as if my work as been in vain. This site has lose a lot of activity for the past month. Why post when no one will talk? It has gotten a bit boring for me now with no one to talk to and very little discussion.

I guess it'd be helpful to add some context here.

RKO, you've made a huge deal in your game threads and elsewhere about leaving this site forever multiple times. cited reasons include us being too corrupt, disrespectful, flippant -- really you can just pick an adjective. it appears that you've been running on the same cycle through a bunch of related forums as well, from RMVX to RRR and so on. if I left this open, it'd flood with dumb posts and eventually drama.

this entire post seems a cry for sympathy, but we don't really have anything to be sympathetic for; most of the drama you've been in here and elsewhere, you've brought on yourself. even setting aside the fact that your name and conduct have very nearly become an in-joke throughout the larger rm community, there just isn't any point to making a farewell topic when you've already been gone for so long prior!

so good luck with whatever it is you're doing after this. please stay gone this time.

First of all, a big leaving thread like this is not really a good idea on a site where you:

• Have deleted your content in the past and made a big deal about that
• Have only made two posts since December anyway
• Have not made a post since 2+ months ago anyway, you'd already left and no more needed to be said

I'm not saying you don't have a right to post a thread like this, but you have to expect a certain type of result when the above three are true.

Regardless of the fact you copy pasted this from an entirely seperate forum, not even changing the name of the forum you are addressing (did you post this on the wrong forum?) - ok, granted you edited it since I saw it, removing at least *some* of the "here"'s, but it's still largely evident bro.

In short, you are bringing this on yourself for this reason: everybody had forgot all the bad things you'd done. You'd already left, you had no presence. The only reason people are even still talking about you is because you felt need to come back and post this! You're welcome to come back at any time, sure, just please, don't be upset if people react in this way.

I'm sorry you feel need to leave the RM community but frankly franklin your name is kind of shat upon now so perhaps it is for the best. (Or just start anew, it's the Internet, we're all anonymous here!)
