Rest in peace Mr Iwata

I'm sure you've all seen by now that Mr Satoru Iwata, the president of nintendo, died on the 11th of July.
It was officially announced yesterday evening (iirc.)

It's a shame to lose such a great man from the industry. I don't want to start fanboying nintendo, but I believe that they don't care about this "console war" and they don't need their console to play the highest graphic game. They simply need their consoles to play the games they make. Mr Iwata was at the centre of this principle and he did amazing work throughout his life. His games have touched many.

So for now, Mr Iwata. President of Nintendo on paper, Game Developer in mind and Gamer at heart, Rest In Peace.

Someone mentioned on reddit that it's unfortunate times like these when the gaming community can come together. It's not about which console is better today; it's about remembering a great man.
