Resource Comments

Hi,

The resource manager has a new commenting system, again an in-house dev. It uses forum accounts for authentication.

Anonymous comments are no longer possible; you have to be logged into the forums to comment on resources.

There is also a moderation system (more still needs to be done to this end) which allows us to delete comments. If you see inappropriate comments there is also a report system.

Any moderators can delete comments (that is, moderators, global moderators, and administrators) as and when needed.

This is basically a huge step up from the previous system. Comments were anonymous, and untracked; and moderation consisted of logging into phpmyadmin and deleting rows by hand.

just a suggestion. when you check out the comments a person has made in their profile, and they haven't made any, it's basically a big ugly screen that you see

maybe have something that says "this user has not made any comments" or something in there.

Ok so forum post count now includes comments (user post counts are unaffected as of yet).

Don't worry, all of the test comments will be deleted in a bit.
