[Resolved]So many DLLs, what am I to do?

Hello,

I have a basic question. I am using a few different scripts which use external dlls. Needless to say, the root directory for my game is now cluttered with dll files. Is there a way I can add these dlls to Data\Libraries\ and still have them work?

The scripts which use external dlls are:

Aworks Input
Cremno's No F12
Selwyn's Resolution
Dahrkael's RMFlash Player

Thank you,

Draycos Goldaryn

Actually, Selwyn's resolution script is outdated. I have a post in his thread, which he directs people to in the first page, that has an updated version with no .dll file. I also have newer scripts that can do the same thing. (Which have been posted, if you'd care to search my posts)

As to a clutter caused by .dll files, have you tried putting them in the folder and directing the game to them with "Data\Libraries\dllname"?

Thank you Glitchfinder. I was able to fix my clutter issue.

As for the suggestion about Selwyn's script, I only call it Selwyn's because I use his dll, However, I have edited the script so that it is barely recognizable as his. I have it working just the way I want, and do not want to switch to another script just to edit it again. Thank you though. I did however find your resolution script and was able to use it to discover why my map was not working right when the player starts in the lower and/or right side of the map. There was just two variables I forgot to edit in def center(x,y) in Game_Player.

Again, Thank you,

You're quite welcome. I'm glad I was able to help with the issue, both directly and indirectly. I hope that your game turns out as well or better than your hopes. Also, if I may ask, are you shrinking the screen, or expanding it? As a general rule, these scripts are used the shrink the screen, but expansion is possible, if you're willing to give up a few things, like proper transitions.

I am expanding. I am aware that some sacrifices must be made, and will work around them when the time comes.

I see. Thanks for the input. Theory and I are working on a modified version of the default scripts that completely enables these features, as well as being completely scalable, which might pan out sometime in the future.
