[Resolved]Program Similar to Paintshop Pro 7?

I was using Paint Shop Pro 7 that came with my computer to edit my graphics for RPGMakerXP, but now the 60 day free trial is over. Boooo! Anyway, does anyone know of any free software out there that's similar to Paint Shop Pro 7? I think I had one awhile ago on my old computer but I can't remember it and I'm terrible at finding this stuff online. The only stuff I could find wasnt free or was only a demo program. Thanks for any help!

Lol, a Trial version came with your PC? Somebody got you on that one, huh? :P

Well, Photoshop suits all your graphic needs best, but hence that costs money, too, I'd rather recommend Gimp or Gimpshop... read my graohic guide (link in my signature) for a list of selected programs.

If you are into spriting, you might also want to try GraphicsGale and IDraw3. (Although the latter appears to have annoying bugs concerning the clipboard.) Those two programs are designed specifically for sprites so you will not be overwhelmed with features that you will need once in 40 years.

Not to mention that Gimp has the most horrible GUI in existence after XEmacs.

IDraw3. At least, the one that I have downloaded on Advo's website. It has bug with copy/paste... it also bugs when saving (although very rarely) which can make you lose all your work.

That's a very bad thing, because it is the only spriting program that I am aware of that has support for spritesets, which makes it perfect for RPG Maker, and game making in general. GraphicsGale' support for animations is more about animated GIFs. (Or if there is spriteset support, I could not find it.) It supports grids, and that is about it.
