[Resolved] How create decent quality videos in XP?

Yeah topic title says it all really. I wanna make a small trailer but I don't know which program to use. Fraps doesn't work in XP. Anyone have a tip?

Camstudio is decent, if not then Hypercam is the only other program I've used.

I tried Hypercam 2, but when I tried recording while playing in fullscreen, first it would alt tab me out, already screwing over the video, but on top of that in the actual recorded video it would only show the screen 1/4 the size of fullscreen.

I'll try Camstudio, but I heard it had trouble with recording audio

Don't record in full screen then? If you're using this for a youtube video (guessing) then youtube will make it smaller than 640x480 anyway.

CamStudio does record the audio for me but not the video. Do you know what I should put in the video settings?

Camtasia Studio. You can record audio, its under prefrences/options. and there is a little checkbox something about "record what you hear"

Tried it out, and it worked very smoothly. Nice quality too. I think I'll stick to this.
