[RESOLVED] Empty RTP!

Okay, so my RTP wasn't working properly, so I went to redownload it... which didn't work properly. Well, I restored my computer so that the problems I was having with... everything... were gone, and now my RTP folder is there with all the sub-folders in it, but the whole thing is empty! I've used both files in the Setup1 folder in RPG Maker XP to repair it, but it's not doing any good.

Anyone know how I can get my resources back?

You may need to actually UNinstall the RTP, and reinstall it from a NEW download.  Just basic troubleshooting, at this point.

All right. I'll try that... I was sort of afraid to do it becuase last time I tried to uninstall something, it like... started eating my harddrive... Hopefully I've fixed that. ^_^

EDIT: ...Anyone know where I can download an ENGLISH version. The only download site I know of to get the RTP is http://www.tkool.jp/ and all of the text is in Japanese...

Are you sure? That's the translated section of the site (if you notice the /eng/ in the url) and the description/text is in English, so shouldn't the RTP be too?

That's what I thought, but the setup files are such are all in Japanese. The filenames are english, but all of the instructions and text in the files are Japanese.

....Well, I'm confused. That didn't happen before, but I've downloaded that thing 3 times and it's been in Japanese... though I didn't expect that to change considering it's the same file.

I don't know if there is a language option or not... Does anyone remember that?..._^

Can't you use the Japanese version then?
The graphics isn't different just becouse it's in another language is it?

I wouldn't think so, but I'm visually impared, and a lot of times I can't tell what I'm looking at unless I have a name to go with it (and even then it's a pain in the ass sometimes).

...I don't know... What if someone just uploaded their RGSS folder and PMed it to me or something...? I can reinstall the RTP I have on my computer so that RMXP will work and then just have all of the graphics somewhere else....

Nevermind! All the graphics and stuff are in English. The setup was just in Japanese... Kinda' weird...
