Pull Power: The power that the player pulls
Fish Power: The power that the fish pulls

The player pulls his rod with left-right button
The fish pulls random

Player Pulls the pull power bar increase higher
Player don't pull the pull bar decrease lower

The fish pulls the fish power moves up
The fish doesn't pull the fish power moves down

When the player pulls to hard the bar turns red and after 2 seconds the fish is lost.
When the player pulls good and the fish bar (timer: black bar with fish) gets zero the fish is catched
When the player pulls not hard enough the bar turns blue and the fish is gone after 2 seconds.

End result:

Some people may recognize this from "Suikoden 2" for Playstation

Why would you want to borrow (feel free to interpret this term as 'steal') a system from another game, rather than invent your own?

I'm wondering why anyone would want to go to so much trouble to catch a fish. Is the fish integral to the plot, or is it just for food?

It's both, plot and food

Need for fishing:
- Fishing Rod
- Bait, cost 200 gold each

There are different fishes to catch:
- GoldFish: Not for eat, selling for 1500 gold
- RainbowFish: Not for eat, selling 2500 gold
- Shrimp: When eat HP restores, selling 100 gold
- Shell: When eat SP restores, selling 100 gold

Instead Random fishing, I want now the player must play for it.

I've tried to start it on my own, allready have 100 lines for just drawing a fish when switch 15 is on
