Repetetive Events!! Need urgent help!!

okay so my problem is basically, whenever i interact with a NON-auto event, it repeats itself and replays, but only if I'm standing next to it. Idk what's going on, but it's really ticking me off.

And don't tell me it's the way my event is set up, becuase I'm not an idiot when it comes to that, i've been using this program ever since it came out.

2 things comes to mind:

1) You have a script that interferes with event triggers
2) Your event trigger is set on something else than Action Button or whatever it's called

Since you are that good with events, then I doubt #2 is the problem.

Are you using any custom scripts? If so, what are they?

If you don't find a fix you could try adding a short wait at the end of the event.

Anyway, the wait wouldn't help, all it would do is wait, and then replay again, no matter what. and i do have lots of scripts, but none of them involve the map that I can think of, it's all battle scripting.

idk how it would help, its always the most basic of basic events. It's just one message... one window... set to button trigger... ,
