RAM Pinslot ? - Cookies included !

Hey, I want to buy some new RAM for my PC, but I forgot what Pinslot it is, anyone know if theres way to tell without taking it out ?

You could look on the side of your ram stick w/o taking it out.

If i'm not mistaken the Standard of PC RAM is 184-pin

Thats for DDR.  I think DDR2 has more

What make (model, brand, whatever) is your current RAM?

Did you buy the pc from a manufacturer like Dell?  There may be a service code that you can go on the site and it will tell you exactly what you need.  Or, there may be some specs on what your pc came with somewhere on the net.

This can be closed now, sorry for not replying to anyone, but I've bought some now and it fit perfectly.

PS. Venetia was right, it's a 240 Pinslot, hehe.
