RADIO.

Personally I am a huge radio fan and often choose it over TV; what about everyone else?

My alarm in the morning is Chris Moyles, BBC radio 1. I used to be a diehard Terry Wogan fan but alas he is gone ;-; (R2)

I also listen to a lot of Radio 2 though, and listen to Radio 4 for the comedies (The Now Show, dead ringers, news quiz, unbelievable truth, etc).

I'm not a fan of commercial radio stations. I like the BBC because... no adverts, ever. The adverts just kill channels like Beacon or Heart for me.

American radio is garbage. There are rarely ever good talk shows, and they always play the same music over and over and over. I'll stick to my Zune - which has radio just in case I feel like listening to this Cowhead guy(whose a local celebrity in Tampa, and kinda funny).

Heh I listen to Cowhead too :D

Also in my car I don't have a choice but at home I listen to Pandora.

When driving, I tend to listen to the local top 40 or rock stations, but when I'm at home I use last.fm (excellent for chiptunes) or aol radio (ambient and video game scores, ftw!)

in the car its usually NPR or 107.3 for local stuff, but we also have a free sirius account, heh heh

At home screw radio, I have over 40 gigs of music

This is gonna get complicated...

At home, when I'm bored of iTunes, I listen to Pandora. BUT

I wake up (usually) to 96.9 Bob FM. I used to wake up to Star 100.7 before they lost half their good DJs and gained some new ones and lost some more and played the same music over and over and over (seriously, one song four times in two hours.)

In the car, I divide my time between 3WS 94.5 (oldies), 92.9 (soft rock), 93.7 B94 (current, but they're merging with...) Star 100.7 (80's/90's/current), Wish 99.7 (soft rock), 105.9 The X (Alternative), and 96.9 Bob FM (anything non-extreme).

In Japan, I can't get Pandora (or last.FM, for that matter) or my local stations, naturally. I brought my clock radio from home (cause I seriously *cannot* wake up to an alarm @_@), but...

Japan operates on a much, much lower frequency than America. ;o; So I only get one station, ALPHA 89.4. It's pretty good, but I can't figure out what the hell their operating procedure is...see, in the morning, they've got the typical news junk. Yomiuri News headlines, trafflic line, etc etc. But then depending on the time of day, and what day it is, and whether or not there's a full moon over Venus..... You'll hear anything from Western music, to Japanese current hits, to instrumentals (extremely popular in Japan, seriously), to opera @_@.... It's really kind of bizarre.

And when I'm tired of radio and I'm yearning for a good drama, I whip out some old tymey radio dramas/comedies/etc. I've got an episode of I Love Lucy, too :D
