Question (I feel stupid, lol)

I know what the obvious ones stand for like HP/SP and Defense and Attack...but then there's dexterity, strength, and all that. And for the weapons there's variance and um....ok you know what? Where can I go to see what all this stuff does? Because when I'm creating new characters/enemies for my game I don't know what some of that stuff even does and I'm just putting in some random number...>_>

Thanks guys.

Also you can check inside the readme of RMXP. There's a section under RPG Maker XP called Battle Calculations. Even then I'll admit the calculations are somewhat hard to understand. It looks like variance is just a modifier applied to the final damage. And variance depends upon whether a skill, normal attack, or item is used. I hope that helps even a little.

Good luck with it BellGoRiiing! :thumb:

I was scratching my head for a while on the battle formulas...

In the main equation,

Damage = force × multiplier...............

force = Power
multiplier = Rate

Second Hit = Evade

hope that helps

Yeah same....and it still does, it will take me a while until I fully understand it.
EDIT: Ok I'm changing the subject here, lol. With the battler graphics (not the enemies, but the player), how do you move it down a tad bit during battles? It may be just that I need to reduce the size of it...>_>
