PSP Downloadable Games

I have been interested in downloading classic PS1 games for my PSP; and I mean the actual ones you have to pay for. But I was wondering, what games do they have so far? What games are lined up for the future? And how do you go about buying them?

Oh, and to make this an actual topic... what classic games do you want to download for your PSP? Or even, what games do you want to download, that arent on the list? (once someone gives me the list, I'll give what ones I want)

But right now, I am dying to play Klonoa (the very first one). It has been AGES since i played it and i remember it was one of my favorite games. The feeling it had when i played it... man... playing part 2 for the PS2 really did bring back memories. I want to actually finish it this time! I got to the second to last level, but couldnt get past it before my dad took it back (rented). And I would just LOVE to have it on my PSP if at all possible.

So, what about everyone else?

Uh... sorry to burst your bubble, but last I checked, there was no legal way to obtain PSX games for your PSP.

Not only that, but in order to play such games, you would 1.) need a memory card big enough to hold it, 2.) hope to god that the person that ripped and converted the game did it properly, and 3.) custom firmware that's compatible with your game of choice.

So... yeah. :|

Yes there is. You can download PSX titles on your PS3, for use on your PSP, via the Playstation Market (or whatever they're calling it).

It's like $5.00 USD a pop for every seperate PSX game via the Market at Sony.

Sony's been lagging with the PS1 releases, and it's difficult to know for sure why (although, the games are playable on the PS3 now). I could get you an exact games, but Crash Bandicoot and Siphon Filter come to mind off the top of my head.

If Alundra and/or Xenogears hits, my life will be complete.

Rumor has said the PSP would be able to hook up to PSN and get PS1 games from before the thing was released (practically the reason I bought the thing originally). If you've got some sort of proof, please post it, if not, it's just wishful thinking, and that's :<

Oh and their list kind of sucks at the moment I think. It probably will for a while.

The PSN is updated every week, but PS1 games are few and far between for some reason.
