PS1 on PSP

As many of you may know by now, Sony has been releasing games for the Original Playstation through the PSN, which can be transfered to and played on your PSP. Of course the current gripes are relative lack of title available, and the fact that you can only connect to the PSN via the PS3. Apparently though, the March update for the PSP is rumored to bring PSN connectivity (Along with the ability to play PS1 games you download with your PS3 ON your PS3.) This is significant, and is presumed to also signal the arrival of many new titles.

The purpose of this thread is to ask the question: What Playstation 1 games would you pay $5-$10 for the opportunity to play again on your PSP?

My list - (IN ORDER)

Alundra
Legend of Mana
Xenogears
Star Ocean: Second Story
Final Fantasy Tactics (Getting a nifty port to PSP anyway, but it makes the list.)
Brave Fencer Musashi
Breath of Fire 3 (Already ported to PSP in Europe, and I have it, but again, that's not the question.)
Parasite Eve 2
Metal Gear Solid
Parasite Eve
Breath of Fire 4
Threads of Fate
Bushido Blade 2
Bushido Blade

(Quick clarification - The reason I didn't put any Final Fantasy Games on this list is due to their sheer disk size. I only have a 2GB Memory Card for crying out loud, and it's already almost half full from other stuff. I can't say with any confidence I could fit FF8 or FF9 on there. I think FF7 is 1.2GB - and that's pushing it - so I left it out.)

The idea that I could get essentially portable versions of those games perfectly legal and legit (modded firmware may be legal, but it's not legit!) for possibly less than $100 is frikkin awesome. I will sell my soul to the devil to get Alundra, Xenogears, and Legend of Mana on PSP specifically.

They need to hurry and release them!

I'm sure Sony are only releasing certain games to the PSP from PS1 but are slowly going through a list. I found somewhere, someone had ported Xenogears to their PSP via their PS3 which Sony added as a feature (Or some bull like that.)

I have a modded PSP firmware and that's about all I'm going to say. The 16gb Pro Duo has been rumoured for release some time this year after the 8gb release last year. Sony have added the feature to order PS1 games over the net for download for as little as $5 USD (Like you said). Versions 3.02+ of the PSP has support for the PS1 feature and talking to the PS3.

I bought my MS (2gb) for $40US brand new so I'm happy. I plan on buying a 8gb+ this year ;)

Games:
Final Fantasy 7
Final Fantasy 9
Chocobo Racing
Star Ocean 1 & 2
Parasite Eve 2 :)
Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 & Warped
-Goes on.

I've been playing Legend of Dragoon on my PSP. And yes, the disc size is a pain... Unless you recompress it... I did that with Spyro. Turned a 543mb game into a 239mb game. And it works. I will not say how i did it as that would get me in trouble... Just remember, Most of the early PS1 games have fluff data to make them worth using a disc. :)

Metal Gear Solid
Final Fantasy 1-9 (they ported the first 6 to PS1 if you remember ;))
RollCage (a classically addictive game)
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
Vagrant Story
Tomba 2
Crash Bandicoot 1
Crash Team Racing (classic Mario Kart Rip off)

That's all I can think of for now really....
