Welcome to my latest project.

Made in RPG Maker XP, Project1 is the result of the misguided efforts of an amateur game developer (I'll be playing this role.)
Obviously, that sucks. Who would play that? But how do I make it better?
Now, the actual game here is, *surprise* not the game itself, but this very thread.
Please, offer your suggestions and requests, and I will do my best to fulfill them. However, to keep this manageable, and fun for me, let me provide a few simple rules for our little experiment here.
Request guidelines (rules):
Your request, and the function/feature you are requesting must be work-safe.
You must make your request/suggestion in 6 words or less. (You can add commentary with no limit, as long as it is not related to your request.)
The actual interpretation of your request is ultimately up to me.
Your request must be relatable to video games (not "make my laptop do jumping jacks")
And a couple out-of-character hints:
The larger your request is, the more likely it will arrive as something other than what you expected.
If a conflicting request is made, and I don't like it as much as a previous request, it will be put to a 24 hour poll. Ties will be broken in favor of the most recent request.
At this point, I intend to fill every request, which should be reasonable unless this really takes off (which isn't going to happen.)
So, let's make a game. I await the first requests.
Changelog
Now your party follows you around.
Now features an interesting, well-written story.
Now features a camp/androgynous male villain with two chicken bodyguards
The main character is now a girl
There is a small town, isolated from troubles
You get experience for finding chests
