I'm not 100% certain this is where I would post this. My apologies if this doesn't belong here.
Anyway, I began using RMXP in January of this year, and I'm still learning about it. My project was initially going to be a complete, (non-commercial) decent game. I do this because it's a fun hobby and I can let my friends play around with it.
So, learning more about it, I've found that I want to re-do the entire thing once I finish this "test" project. So far, it's about two hours long. I've included quite a few cliches (for the purpose of comic-relief) and I've condensed the actual story quite a bit.
The first two chapters of Fallacia are posted here:http://www.rmxp.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=62028.
Here's a quick preview of the story:
The game itself pretty basic - nothing super special in terms of graphics or systems, I merely wanted to learn how the program works. Here is a link to the game so far...

Here's a few screenshots. Any feedback is appreciated. I don't think they're too shabby for my first few maps.
This is the first map I made. Ever.
This is the scene where Kireth rests on the night of the first day.
This is where the Aquamarine is washed ashore during Kireth's Chapter 2.
This is Ivalrein, a town in the northwestern province of Proelium.
This is the interior of Succidia's Fort Grey.
This is one of those "lame jokes" I put in here.
And I think that's it for now.... Thanks for reading, guys.

Here's a quick preview of the story:
Kireth Schweitzer, our skilled assassin and protagonist, completes another job. He receives another reward. Unfortunately, Proelium has decided to attack the peaceful Kingdom of Succidia. War isn't really his thing, but he needs the Proeliums in order to keep his line of work. The two countries have maintained a moderate peace for some time. Why would Proelium just attack out of the blue?
Due to the fires of war, Kireth cannot take the normal route back to Proelium for another contract. Instead, he takes the northern route to the trading town of Malasujoy, where he boards a boat to cross the Inner Sea. Will Kireth successfully reach Proelium before all mayhem breaks loose?
Meanwhile, the Succidian Military's freshest recruit - Timothy Stoneman - awakens from a vivid nightmare to an even greater shock: his first battle. A small regimen of Proelium soldiers have broken the defense wall and are nearing the city. The Succidians are in a scramble -- most of their army has been deployed in response to this terror and few remain near the city. Can Timothy and a motley band of recruits hope to push them back? Will his recurring nightmares ever stop?
In the west, General Jude Tenebrae struggles to push back the sea of Proelium soldiers. His men are falling one by one to the greater numbers of the ruthless Proeliums. Wielding his inheritance, "The Vanquisher", he fights with incredible power. He succeeds in temporarily pushing them back, but only at the cost of losing one of his higher ranked officers, Vanessa. While acknowledging her defeat, he is branded a traitor by another... Officer Derek....he that seethes with envy. Fleeing to the north, from his own soldiers, Jude curses his ill fate. Surely King Kierkai, of Succidia, will understand his plight.
I'm not sure if that sounded cheesy or not.... It sounded like the ending to some show, and I almost put "stay tuned" at the bottom. It's rather difficult to put a story's summary here without spoiling it.
