Problem?

I was working on my project the other day. After working with some events, I tried to play test the game, but AVG, my virus protection program, said that the game player file was a level 4 malware threat. I had to quarantine the game player file. However, I allowed the file to come out of the quarantine. I replaced the "infected" file with a new game player file from another RXMP project.
This situation seems a bit ridiculous to me. I don't understand how the game player could randomly be malware.
Thoughts?

First thought... infected? Some malware systems don't just target .dlls, pics, docs and .exes anymore. Check the size of the file in comparison of another with the same data. If there's a difference, it's the infection in the file.

that sounds like the best course of action. copying another game.exe may or may not give you a little trouble (I forget just how specific the .exe is about the files it looks for) but I guess you have the proj file and can just re-export it if the short way doesn't work.

Game.exe is universal and doesn't change inbetween projects, just between RPG Maker versions (you can't use a RMXP Game.exe with RMVX projects, and vice versa). All data is stored in the resource folders, namely Graphics, Audio and Data.
