Problem with my actor data

My problem is that i cannot open some game files,when i do it says 'failed to load actor data' and it has been bugging me for a time now,i have tried extracting the game and copy and paste actor data from seperate projects but it dont work so could someone help me? i will appriciete it.

im not 100% sure about this, but i think theres a way to protect your map files so that other people can't open them. It's a method ppl use to stop others from stealing the game and taking the credit for themselves.

Every time I've seen that error, it was due to trying to load a save game that referred to an actor that had been removed from the game, or otherwise by a reference to an actor # that does not, or no longer, exists.

Most likely that error occurred because the file Actors.rxdata couldn't be found in the Data folder, or even because the entire Data folder is missing.

I've had that problem when I tried downloading demos.

To fix that, I moved the game file out of its highest (or .zip/.rar) folder.

(Documents/GameFolder.zip/GameFolder/Game,data,etc.)
(copy or cut that folder, then paste in Documents or Downloads--or whatever folder you hold your games in. Worked for me.)
