Problem with making cutscenes

Ok, this is really weird. Whenever I make a cutscene with parralel process and all that stuff, I found out that you can move when I don't want the player to because usually I have the character move in an event, and if the player manually moves before the cutscene starts, it ruins the whole cutscene because it looks weird (example: when I make a cutscene where I have a set move route for the player, if the person moves before the cutscene starts, it messes it up like if an enemy was supposed to approach  and attack you and the enemy stops when he's 4 spaces left of you. That wouldn't make sense.) Is there anyway I can disable movement with the arrow keys for the time span of the cutscene :down:
 
You can use an Autorun instead of PP, it automatically stops player movement. If you really want to use Parallel Processing though, you can try a "Set Move Route: [Player] Move Toward Player (Repeat)" at the beginning of the cutscene and have a blank "Set Move Route: [Player]" after it.
