Problem with Charset background

When I use a charset that isn't from the original RTP, the backgorund color appears as a big square. I tried importing the color of the other charsets to maybe making it become transparent but it still doesn't help. This looks extremely ugly and I tried searching the boards for an answer but found nothing. Please help me.

btw I use RMXP

I too, am having this problem. That's why I was trying to obtain the Legal License. A lot of my stuf is going to be custom made. i hope someone has an answer to this. :s

LOL, don't act so suprised. The first RMXP program I ever had was the PK Edition. So, now I'm trying to buy the License for The REAL RPG Maker XP.

No, I don't mean that there is anything wrong with RPGXP. Its just that, with Postality Knights I had this problem, and i don't want to spend $60, if im going to have these problems.

When you import a character set, you can choose to make a certain color transparent and another color translucent. Simply left-click(or right-click, I can't remember.) on the background to make it disappear.

RMXP.org does not condone the usage of pirated software(which is what you are using.). I wouldn't go around spouting that off if I were you.
