This topic is about porting scripts to VX.
first off, the scripts that use SDK are relatively close to RGSS2, therefore they are the easiest to port. only minor changes are needed.
examples: Aleworks keyboard module needs NO change, it works fine as is.
Aleworks Input Module CP only needs the sdk lines commented out.
some of the Aleworks scripts have RGSS registry values in them, those need to be replaced with RGSS2 registry values. someone earlier complained about getting an error from an ABS, the reason is because of an improperly ported input module. replacing it with the Aleworks Input Module and Keyboard Module then setting the keys with the keyboard module seems to fix the problem.
If anymore of you have any tutorials on porting old RGSS1 scripts to RGSS2, or and sniplets of code, please use this thread.
