Pokemon RBY FRLG SS. Anne Truck: Why is it there?

We all know about the classic Red, Blue and Yellow MissingNo. glitch. (MissingNo.=Missing Number) and we all know about the surf bewond the SS Anne with the truck, and this secret repeats in Fire and Leaf, but no-one is kind enough to answere: Why?
I was exploring this truck in Fire Red, but then the thought "Why is it there?" came top mind.
I've been googling for ages and searching sites, I now know everything there is to know about MissingNo. >.< but nothing about the truck.
Anyone got an answere for why the truck's there? (It's no "Get a Mew!" Secret)
Did game freak or nintendo put it there for a joke? Or is it decoration that could only be seen from a glitch? Or is it some sales trick that Nintendo started to get people to buy pokemon and find out for themselves?
It could be similar to "What is the meaning of life?". The truth might never be revealed. (Will God explain the ss. Anne truck to people when they get to heaven?)
I want to know, so can someone please find out or post some info.
I feel stupid about making a pokemon rpg topic, but I want to know this one thing.


(I know that pokemon rpg threads aren't a forum favourite because it attracts useless posts, but this one is based around a 1x2/2x4 tileset rather than a whole: List every fake glitch in the pokemon RPGs, so can everyone keep that in mind.

Well you know about the truck from RBY; well they just put it there in FR & LG for the fans. At least you get a cookie for getting to the truck (Lava Cookie).

I never really bothered to go to that truck, seeing as I used to always have gameshark/action replay to cheat and get stuff you aren't supposed to have. =\

i was told that in yellow if you trained a rhrdon to lvl 100 with strenght and surf you could move that truck and under it was a persian

I was told that Marril was running around in front of the daycare, and you needed a Mr Mime to beat it, cause you had to counter/mirror coat it or sommat. I can't even remember if Mr Mime learns those moves. o__O

The point is, that people used to make shit up all the time back then. Not to mention that most of us were like 10 years old, and believed all this shit.

Anyone else remember the cheat where you put the Magicarp you brought in daycare until it got to level 50 and took it out, it gained a level and evolved into mew?

Okay, so it's in FR/LG because it was in R/B/Y, but why was it in RBY?
If RBG were the original pokemon games then what inspired parking the truck there?

I have no idea, but game freak likes to put little secrets everywhere. maybe they put the truck there just to piss off gamers, knowing that they know about all the little secrets.
