Actually, if I remember right, Prof. Oak's e-mail on his computer in Red, Blue, Yellow, FireRed and LeafGreen said that the league was offering a challenge to all up-and-coming trainers, but I guess that's an easy misconception, plus Red, Blue and Green did accept the challenge, so in a sense, they did. The heroes talking thing looks like it might add a whole new degree to this game, but I agree with the last few people: you might want to run the namebox through Resource Management again (I don't know what it's supposed to be called now since I don't have a legal RMXP, but I stopped using the illegal translation immediately after I found out about EnterBrain's English release, I swear! That's why I'm just a spriter and writer for now) but aside from that, the hero talking can either be put under breaking canon or outright revolutionary, it depends on whether or not this is meant to be a serious Pokemon game or a totally new spin on a classic.Plus the Elite Four didn't challenge Red and Blue, Red and Blue challenged the Elite Four.
Serious Pokemon Game? What do you mean?

Y'know, in my opinion, when you play pokemon, you are meant to feel as if you are the hero, and making the heroes speak takes something away from the experience.
