Please help me, I cannot open my RPG make XP because of Errors.

I am trying to use my RPG maker XP, but I cannot download the RGSS RTP-standard file. It keeps having errors, and when I try to open the RPG maker XP, it says that the RGSS RTP standerd thing has to be installed. It already is installed though, but when I try to uninstall it, it has an error as well.
What do I do?

he means open the RTP installer again and choose REPAIR RGSS RTP.

You can use the ADD/Remove Programs via Control Panel to remove the installations and reinstall them..

If I repair it it has an error.

You know the typical RTP error when the RMXP cannot find the RTP.

Who knows may be a virus.. or it could be her using the program -while- trying to do that. I dont really know.. Im too aloof to pay attention to stuff.. I suck as a helper type.

Hm...just a suggestion here:-

+Remove RPG Maker completely from your computer. (back up your project if you want)
+Scan for viruses
+Download a new RMXP installer
+Re-install RMXP

It keeps on saying that I am missing a folder to open uninstall and all of the other stuff, but when I had the free trial, it worked perfectly, just for some reason it won't work now.:s
um also Impreza, If I try to remove RGSS RTP standerd from my computer, it has an error.

But I will scan for vireses.

You.. get an error.. deleting regular folders in windows?
Either you have a virus, you're still using the installer (which Impreza told not to do), or else you can't use a computer.

Wow, either I'm really confused or your computer's got some serious virus problems. :-/ What's the name of the folder that's missing? "Enterbrain?"

ok, it's really weird, but I can install, remove, change, repair, and uninstall everything and it works completely fine. I only have errors when trying to do that stuff to the RGSS RTP standerd.-_-

DoctOrbuu, it won't tell me what file is missing, it just says that one is.

Hmmm... The problem is that rmxp installer can't find the rtp, even though it's already installed. Try installing rmxp in the folder the rtp is in, or something. I don't know exactly how to fix it, but i know it's because it doesn't know where it is.

this is exactly what happens on my friends computer when we try to download it....
We really need help too. One problem solved is 2 problems solved i guess...
