Playing RMXP games on a computer without RGSS Player ?

If a computer doesn't have RGSS installed, is there a file I can put into the directory so they can play the game without the RGSS or do I need to include a setup file or something with the RGSS on it, in the directory so they can install it and then play the games ?

I believe all they need is the RGSS .dll included in the game folder.

Make sure to also include all graphics/audio that you use.

I've tried it and it still doesnt work, OH WAIT, I FORGOT TO MENTION ITS ON A VISTA PC THAT IM TRYING TO DO IT ON !!!
Any way around that too ?

What you need to do is export every single graphical and audio file you used in the corrisponding folder, even if it was in the default RTP graphics/music/sounds RMXP comes with. (i.e. Put 001-Fighter01 in the Characters folder, 001-Battle01 in the audio/BGM folder). Now open the "Game" text file. You should see this:

[Game]
Library=RGSS102E.dll
Scripts=Data\Scripts.rxdata
Title=Game Title
RTP1=Standard
RTP2=
RTP3=

Now just remove the word "standard" and it should work.

I don't think so. You just have to make sure everything is in the right folder before you encrypt.

Export EVERY resource into the folders
Encrypt it with them in their folders
I should be able to have an encrypted game with all the resources ?

I'm pretty sure. However, you could just direct your friend here to get the RPG Maker XP RTP. It'll give them everything they need to play RPG Maker XP games without actually having to buy RMXP. It's free and it'll probably be much less of a hassle

I have a question about this.  Instead of telling them to download it would I be able to download it and put it into the file that my game is in?  That way I don't have to copy and paste everything and they only have to download the game.

You're kinda half right, there. You would be able to download it for them, but they'd need access to the RTP file to install it. You see, it's one big file that installs on the computer.

I got it to work ALMOST how I want it, it doesn't let me encrpyt it all, but it doesn't matter.
They still have access to all the Audio and Graphics, but I guess it doesn't matter because its only RTP anyways. If this COULD be fixed, I'd be hella helpful.

When you're compressing the file, check the box "Create Encrypted Archive" and it will prevent others from viewing your graphics or editing your game file.
