player name in chat

in rpg maker vx I was able to do the command /n[1] command so an npc could sat the players name during conversation

how do u do this for vxace I cant find it anywhere online


I want an npc too say

'' Are you awake {Playersname] its nearly 1:00pm''

please help hope someone can understand this post lol

With VX Ace, it's actually \p[1], p being Party ofcourse... or so I've been told, hope that helps :thumb:

If not, I'll have a look around for you, I've not actually used VX Ace myself, so I'm not too helpful in that regard, but hey, a quick Google search can help, right?
