Player able to move during cutscene

In my game I have various cut scenes where I want the person playing the game not to move but druing some cut scenes the player is able to move freely. How could I fix this?
 
Use parallel processing when you want the player to be able to move. But note that you still won't be able to move while dialogue (text) is shown. You'll need a script to override that.
 
A trick I used in a game I was working on for the cut-scenes I made the character graphic blank and teleported it into a non-passable object. the player can still "move" but they are invisable and stuck, so it won't matter. But this way, make sure to diable menu access for the time being.
 
There's always the trick "Set Move Route: Player (Repeat Processing): Move Toward Player". As the player can't move toward him/herself, they'll get stuck until you undo it with another set move route command.
