Plaing RMXP created games, but without needing the RMXP

Please listen: I want to place a game to internet for download, but what I want to ask is do you need an rpg maker xp to play games created by the same program, and if u do, is there a way when you don't need it???
Answer please...

No, but if you used any of the default resources that came with the game-- sounds, tilesets, music, animations, anything, then you'll either need to export those resources into the folder for the game (making it quite large), or the player will need to also download the RunTime Package, or RTP, for the game in question. Which isn't a big deal, and they'll only need it once no matter how many RMXP games that they have.

If all of your resources (including even the most basic sounds) are your own work, of course, that isn't a problem.

Yes, actually. But there's a lot of it. All the Sound and Music effects, all the BGS and BGM, all the Animations, Icons, Autotiles, Tilesets, Characters, Battlers, Battlebacks, everything. It will make your game signficantly larger.

Oh, and at that point, you should set the game to not look for the RTP.

ok... thanks, you really helped
Hey, what do you think of project about logical horror. There is not that much killing zombies as there are puzzles and stuff like that. Answer please, anyone.

I would welcome a horror game where the major focus isn't Benny Hill zombie chases. puzzle horror games with focus on suspense rather than surprises are something the rm gamepool hasn't seen a lot of.
