Photoshop Map Brushes

Have you ever wanted to make a real looking map for your game?
If you have photoshop 7 or higher you can. Usually this involvs getting someone talented to do it for you or doing it yourself on a piece of paper. I compiled some brushes of map images to help non artists create such maps.
Using these along with the burn tool and grunge brushes or texture brushes will give you the effect of a very realistic map. Thx to whoever made the world map tileset that some of the cities were extracted from.
There are 28 brushes in all and I hope you guys like them or use them
This is an example of the map brushes. Its kind of a rush job but you get the idea.

Hmm, I cant download it... it has a popup error that says access forbidden, error... and then a bunch of numbers...

anyway, they look awesome!
I cant wait until I get my hands on them....

EDIT:

It was my stupid download manager, it was not acting well with that site...

anyway, I am trying them out now!

Okay, they are good brushes, although the fact that they dont have color really annoyed me while useing them.
I have to make my map black and white.
It would work if I tried to make it dark paper-ish brown, but I did not try it.
here is what I came up with.

they work pretty good, although the pirate ship one... well, you cant see it.

anyway, great job on these, they will help a lot people.

that looks good, but all brushes are in black and white. You can make it in color by starting off with a brown base.

Made a video tutorial on how to make burned parchment for your maps.
As soon as it gets approved you guys can watch it.

I don't think Photoshop has ever had anything except monochrome brushes for the most part. It's Painter and Paint Shop Pro (and I think Gimp too) that have image nozzles, hoses, etc. where you can paint with colored pictures instead of B/W ones. You'd think that would have changed by now.

Thanks Badmonur, cool idea. Gonna play with these a bit.

uhm... These are cool.... thx would use it ^^

@Kraft:

Simple paint the Brushes on a new layer ( not direct on the Map layer ). Than you can press "CTRL + U". Now adjust the color ^^.

the video quality of the Tutorial is nearly the worst i´ve ever seen.. It´s to smal for seeing what brush you use.. to small to see how big your brush iss, to small and with to low FPS.. it looks like you used 4FPS for that video.. sry
