Perhaps You Should Title Your News Posts A Little Better

I've noticed a rather concerning problem coming up lately involving the titles of the news posts that the staff put on the front page. As many of you know, Google posts ads in the corner of the page, often advertizing things that no one cares about, or don't notice. Often times these ads are based off the first few words that are displayed on the page. So, in other words, Google posts ads that are vaguely related to whatever the first news post on the front page is titled.

Do you see the problem here?

Personally, I think that the staff needs to think these things out a little better, for the sake of the members' sanity. For example, try titling that topic "New Swimsuit Models Wanted for RMXP Academies" or, for us girls "New Hot Men Wanted for RMXP Academies". It would make people much happier.

Yes, I realize this is extremely spammy, but I figured I may as well try posting it anyways. Any locks put on his topic will be respected and unargued about. Though, I, pesonally, found it kind of funny.

Not much anyone could have done about that... I mean, things like that happen all the time to me with Google Ads, the only thing you can do is follow the link, and tell the staff about it, so they can ban that adress from advertising on this site ever again.

XD I wasn't being serious. I know nobody actually cares.

The staff might actually care, since the money made from the ads is used to keep the forums up and running, and for beer, so they might just actaully care.

Holy shit, it's ganonfrog   Nice to have ya back!

Anyways, it's not the staff's responsibility to make sure that the title's of threads appropriate. If someone gets butthurt about it, then we'll probabl see some action against it.

*Shrugs* Maybe they will. Though I doubt one slightly disturbing ad is going to make a large enough dent in their profits to convince the Admins and such to go out of their way to fix things. In any case, it's their choice of what they do about it. It doesn't really effect the rest of us in any way. XD Except a little less amusement while browsing the front page.

I don't get it.
Subject of News Topics = Naked Subject of Google ads. I just thought it'd be amusing if the staff went out of their way to title their topics with sexy things. Not that I actually think they'll do it. It's just an amusing thought.

Why thank you good sir. I've actually been around on and off for a while now. I just don't post in unimportant topics much anymore. I don't know why...

It'd almost be funnier if someone got offended by it... Those google ads are everywhere. It's not like they can avoid them.

Seems to me like that ad would incur more revenue than the one next to it.

But yeah, there's nothing much we can do about that, and it's not that big a deal, and lastly this is more of a Feedback thing.

What I thought was funny was one ad I saw a lil while back for Contraceptive Sponges. But 2 and 2 together there :P

Alrighty, lockaroo.
