Passibility of walls?

Well, I've recently started messing with RMXP again after about a year, so I'm a bit (a lot) rusty. I've been working on my first map in ages and hit a snag that probably has a very simple solution, but damned if I can figure it out.

The characters can walk on the walls. o.o At first, I thought it was just a passibility flub, but I've fiddled with the tileset settings six hundred different ways, and I can't seem to fix it. Any ideas?

Edit: I'm also having the same problem with a set of barrels, and simply setting the passage of the tile to X seems to do absolutely nothing.
