Party Member Variables

I would like to run checks on who is in my party at any given time. So for this instance, when joe and jill are in my party, there are two events on the map that will put their character sprites there, but if jim and jane are in my party it would put their's instead.
 
You can have a conditional branch clarify that without recording it in a variable

Code:
conditional branch: [character a] is in the party
# then you put here the actions you want taken
branch end
