Paris Hilton has been freed from prison after serving just 3 days of her sentence.
Officials confirmed Paris, 26, was let out for "Medical Reasons". She refused to eat the prison food and she cried herself to sleep every night. I'm pretty sure that everybody who goes to prison for the first time is lost and scared, so why the difference with this girl?
MONEY!
People say money can't buy you everything, but just having it seems to create a boundary for you from all the bad things in life. Paris Hilton is seen as an icon, an image, a minor reason to travel overseas and catch an autograph, but why oh WHY is this suddenly protection from the legal system?
Some quotes from The Sun newspaper in the Northwest of England :
"Medics and guards feared she would have a total nervous breakdown. There were even concerns she might try to kill herself"
I say - Where's the concern for the rest of the inmates? A nervous breakdown should be seen as a positive thing. Serving time in jail is supposed to clean the mind of convicts. Make them see what they did was wrong. So wouldn't a breakdown be a healthy sign of that?
"It makes a mockery out of the legal system. It's nothing other than special treatment."
I say - It is! Special treatment wouldn't even be considered if you came from a normal background.
"45 days was reduced to 23, but she served just 3"
I say - Justice?
"Paris refused to eat the prison food even though hers was more luxurious than the other inmates"
I say - Again, special treatment?
"This is an outrage. Paris has only been let out because she's a little rich white girl. When the rest of us cry we're ignored. You have to be dying to get out of here!"
I say - It almost makes the system sound like a gym class. Paris has shed a few tears and she has been excused to the dressing room whilst the rest have to go outside in the freezing cold and continue with class.
"I want to thank the LA county Sheriff's department and century regional detention center staff for treating me fairly and professionally. I hope others learn from my mistakes"
I say - Fairly? From the way she's said that after 3 days of crying and "Not eating", it sounds like she hasn't learnt her lesson at all! You can almost HEAR the smirk on her face as she walks from that interview and carries on back to her multi million mansion. It sounds like she's treating the justice system like her father or mother. She cries and moans to get what she wants, and when she does she instantly gives credit to them. Take that way and she'll be your worst enemy again.
This girl hasn't grown up from the age of 5, nevermind learnt her lesson about illegal drugs.
Any comments on this? I'm outraged.
