Panda's Pixels

I haven't pixeled anything in quite awhile so i thought I'd throw together a little something today.

Thoughts? I haven't shaded the fatty yet and I'm remaking the child because I hate it but comments on the man and women would be great ^_^

I don't really like the mellowness of the body; the lines are so visible at the joints, which makes him look like a balloon. Just a question Why are the feet different in the example? His shoulders are to broad, and looks like he is shrugging. The line art on the arms could use a little work too; it just seems to get very small when it connects to his body. The hands seem to be curve inwards to the body instead of dangling down. Your main problem is that your pose is forced, it's not just somebody standing there. And maybe a tad more contrast on the lightest colour, hope this comment helps.

Thanks a ton guys! This any better? First is the original, then the first edit I did then the one I did just now ^_^

The one on the right looks awesome, try spriting your example onto it and see what you think yourself, but I think it's a big improvement compared to the first(He isn't flexing or holding his hands out, lol).

Alright GR thanks! I think it looks a little chubbier without the second outline but it's still better than the the thick block that the double outline makes.

006 I don't really like the edit, the shading on the face just looks kinda odd and doesn't make a lot of sense =/

Here's an example I did:

And I'll get to work on animating it ^_^

It wasn't so much of an edit as an idea, at the moment the shading on the mouth makes it looks like the mouth sticks out, like an ape.

I dont know what you guys are talking about, I rather like this template!

But not being a pixel artist I may be lacking on judgment, but I think this is rather unique. The only problem with templates of different designs require full RTP because they don't fit with anything else, but other than that, I really like this template and hope to see more.

Good to see you are still alive n Kickin Panda, i personally like this, thought i dont have that pixel art eye so i really dont see what can be improved but cant wait to see it finished,

Whew weee, this is HAWT. I'm diggin' this like Momma in her garden. I agree with Green Raven. This template has potential. I'm going to keep a very close eye on this.

When do you think you're going to have one animated? I don't want to rush you, but I really like this. Do I have permission to use this for my game? (nothing commercial)

Mm I'll probably be able to do it over Spring break(next week). I'm really sorry I haven't been working on anything lately, I'm getting a 3-5 page essay almost every day in school lately, I got a job, and I have a new girlfriend so I've been really busy :/ But I'm sure I can whip up some progress soon with all the time I'll have off over break ^_^
And of course you can! Templates are made to be sprited on after all! So feel free to use this with whatever you want(commercial or not) just as long as I get my fair share of credit ^_^

Hiya guys, did ya miss me? :]
Just wanted to stop by to show that I haven't forgotten about this, I'm gettin around to it! I drew up the forward walk animation today(though I had dance tonight and couldn't spend too much time on it, so it's a very rough copy).

Look okay for now? Any suggestions? I'll probably refine it tomorrow after my jazz band audition at school.
