Panda's Chibi Workshop!(Updated 11-12!)

I'm just gonna make this into a workshop now since I have bunches of stuff and don't feel like making tons of threads anymore xD
I work best with the smaller chibi sprites so almost everything here will be made on either Zephyr, Breeze, or one of my own chibi templates ^_^
So here's what I've got so far:

Attention Spriters!!
Like my new template? Wanna use it? Sorry, you can't :P Not without putting in a little work that is! I'm assembling a team of spriters to work on tilesets for this template, anyone who joins the team and sees a tileset through will get access to that tileset and the template! WOO! Yeah I saw the other thread you posted about my template earlier, but wasn't logged in and was feeling particularly lazy so I couldn't comment XD
The reason I made this wasn't because of the lack of tilesets, I have working tilesets for it now, it's because it only works properly with a side view perspective, it's gonna look odd with top-down tilesets like yours and any other tileset made for RMXP(the old one basically only works with platformer games).
This one's better anyways imo ^_^
BUT, I wanna check out that tileset you made anyways! It looks like it might work with this new template with some palette adjustments..sadly photobucket resized it though so I can't play with it yet. You should re-upload the tileset on imageshack and re-post it ^_^

Personally I liked your first template better. It was like NESS and SOUTH PARK. Very original and such.
Actually im trying to make a whole graphics pack, after I upload all the tilesets, would you mind giving me the characters you made to add to it?

I didn't finish any characters completely, just front views for examples :x
And while I liked the old template too because of the originality it doesn't work because of perspective issues, the old template is basically useless unless you're making a platformer which are VERY hard in RMXP due to the lack of a good side-scrolling script.

Alright cool, I'll check em out, adjust the palettes and see if they work with this.
Though this is almost spam and it's sorta cluttering the topic so PM me if you wanna continue discussion on the tiles ok?
Anyone actually have any critiques on the template or should I just get to work on the walking?

Hey, that's not to bad, Maybe you could add a wee-bit of shading to the head, right now it's like a globe. Other than that I think that you really spruced up the faults of breeze such as the arms and feet.

I think that the head is holding it back, I LIKE how it is simple and cartoony yet I think you need to somehow... I can't place my finger on it, but somehow improve it?

Sorry to be so vauge, yet none-the-less, I still like it alot


*Oh also I would rename the temp, adding a "y" to the end just seems a little copy-ish

Try upping the contrast, right now it looks pretty flat.

And Xaixas that's not the template's name, it doesn't have a name yet so I just said Panda's Breezy Template meaning a breeze-like template made by Panda ^_^

Anyway, I added some contrast and screwed around with the head a bit. Better? ^_^

But I think that the tilesets are a little bit too cartooney for the template.

Yeah that's a lot better, good job on the eyes. You could go even farther with the contrast though, but it's up to you.

All of the forward frames are done, and the other 3 views' idle frames are finished ^_^

Also, I was questioning it so I thought other people might be too, this actually looks okay with the old tilesets. So we can have our better characters and not have to worry about remaking all the tiles ^_^

If you don't want the character to be brighter, may I suggest making the tilesets look darker?

They will be, I'm actually redoing the palettes completely on all of the Breeze Tiles(not just darkening them). That screen was just to show that the Kosmos still works style-wise with the old Breeze tiles ^_^

(If anyone's wondering why I'm still working on Breeze and not Kosmos it's because it's not perfect yet and I don't wanna have to go through and possibly remake each character I make with the template. It's fairly easy to edit a character from Breeze to Kosmos so I'll just do these for boredom and edit them once I get the template perfect!)

I SO wish I could actually do something with that Panda but there's no Zephyr tiles and none of my attempts look good =/ maybe I'll get some good ones done eventually =)

Updates!
Finished the Vampire(except it came out looking more like a dark elf..but it started out as a vampire xD Use it for whichever).

I also fixed the bunny swordswoman's jewel on her sword. Half of it got cut off somehow o.O Probably not even a noticeable change but I figured it was worth mentioning ^_^
