So yeah, Ive been talking with alot of you guys on irc and you seem interested in getting a Brawl frenzy started. I know we've had this before but it usually ended in failure. So yeah, just post here to talk out of game, discuss your main's (the character you use most) and move help, your friend codes, etc. This thread is primarily for SSBB, so anything goes except for GAME DISCUSSION (like I love this game, your reviews of it, game hatred etc)

As for rules, I usually play 3 stock, no items on a flat stage (smash ville, FD, Battle field) and on a FFA I like Hyrule Castle. I dont mind items though, and if you guys want to turn them on im cool with it (it makes more lol's)

Im not gonna toot my own horn, but im pretty suave with brawl
(and most fighting games), ive been in alot of tourneys and such so if you need any help or questions Id be glad to help if I can

I'll start. I primarily main Ness and sub ZSS, honestly because Ness is so versatile as compared to Lucas imo (his thunder doesnt stream). ZSS has a rad counter spike which eliminates edge-riding (its really helpful against snake and MK) and is quick, although shes the weakest char in the game.

So yeah, feel free to post and join up! I wont have my wii back until about a week and half but we can start setting up things till then.

My best character is Snake. He's a hard character to learn, but he's so fun to play and quite good once you got his moves down.

With that being said, I used to play a lot more awhile back, but I stopped playing(got bored). I'd definitely be willing to get involved with this provided I'm available.

Snake is fuckin ace man, I totally agree. However also like you said his shit is so difficult to learn it makes me hate him at the same time

that fucker's also at the top of the tier list along with MK

I used to play Brawl constantly when it came out, but I only play it once in a while now when friends come over. I don't think I've played it in months. :/

I'm, uh, not very good at it! At least, not good enough to do well in any sort of competition. I think I'd get my ass whooped if I joined a competition. :x

I only ever play with 3 stock and with all items on. Items make the game 10x more fun imo! Idc what stage I play on, either, though flat stages can get kind of boring.

My main is usually Falco (Fox is too damn fast for me and Wolf is :| ) or Lucas. (dunno why but he feels better to me than Ness) I used to be able to kick ass with Lucas but I usually only play as Falco now.

wolf is SO SHIT man and my best friend is like AMAZING with him (he's literally ranked in the top 500 players or something)

idk why people stomach him his b-> move kills the shit out of your recovery

I play with eight stock (good fortune or whatever, to me the number just WORKS) and items on high. for the novelty, mostly

I'm big on Toon Link, Ness, and sometimes Lucas. Toon Link is a fast little dude with a lot of decent launches and a killer aerial plant (although I never have much use for his B-moves), while Ness is just a really versatile guy. PK Thunder is good for juggling dudes or setting off explosives (and sometimes cancelling plants if you can get it right). he's not a powerhouse, but he's really well-rounded. I used to be really crazy about Lucas, but there's not a lot to him. PK Thunder doesn't do a lot, PK Fire is pretty much useless, and PK Freeze is just PK Flash without any of the benefits. his up smash (PK Love?????) is INSANE but it's such a timeburner that most of the time you might as well not bother. still, he's alright

also I have a lot of fun with Wario sometimes, although I'm not very good with him. I guess I'm competent with most of the characters???? I can usually pull it out when I'm playing all-random (random characters, random stages) unless I get that asshole Dedede. still, it's fun to be a penguin in a pinpsuit.

I tried to like Captain Falcon, and I can use him alright, because look at the guy he is such a fucking bro, but ever since they changed Brawl's physics and left Capn mostly the same, he hasn't been able to do combos quite as well. also, the Knee got majorly downgraded, even if you pull off the timing. such is life.

also my Wii happens to be in another city and this place has balls internet in the first place so I don't think I could get any major competitive play down for the time being.

I usually play as Kirby when I play. What kirby lacks in offense he makes up for in being able to fly and some pretty useful moves such as the hammer and rock fall. When I play, I usually play on the defensive side more than the offensive, and my attacks consist of dodging someones powerful move then hitting them with my hammer. :3

I'm pretty good with Peach, Samus and T. Link. Im decent with Jiggly Puff and Zelda as well.

I remember playing with Despain and Holly one time. It was alright I suppose. I play as Kirby and sometimes Pikachu.

also kirbys b/d thing is good imo but apparently its super nooby? Idgi really, but its helpful on countering faggots who try to edgeride

man I love Snake's stinger missile

that is, I love when other people use it

most of them don't know how to set it up so that the missile can't be avoided easily and leave you (still immobilized from steering it) open to attack

I usually play as Lucario, but that's because I like him the best. :P I'm better with Meta Knight and I recently found out I'm not bad with Pit, either. Also Zelda is pretty fun sometimes. I usually end up doing a character scroll thing where I'll just keep playing as different characters until I find one I like for that day. I'm not too good, but it's fun. ^^

I haven't played the game yet, but I always played as Fox in the older versions. I definitely want to get the game soon, though. Are all of Fox's moves the same as before?

psiclone: its not so much the moves as it is the physics

guardian I like lucario too! hes a really good snake counter.

I'm trying out Sonic. He's an annoying little sucker zooming around the screen and a lot of people seem to hate him, but if you can control his speed he works really well.

I'm also decent with Toon Link and Pit, and I'm working on Wolf as well; he's a beast of a character but hard to get used to because he's so heavy and slow (and I generally play lighter characters).

See I like Sonic except for the fact that it's freakin' hard to get a decent kill with him since his attacks or fast. but really weak. His smash attack doesn't do much damage.

I love to play as Peach. I don't know why I am so good with her. I played a tournament with my friends once. I somehow ended up as Peach. I thought I was going to loose since my main at that time was Marth, but I destroyed all my friends and won the tournament. She is fun to use since you can smack people around with a frying pan. ^___^
