Opening A Door

Now i'm having trouble with >>EVERY!<< time I answer 'yes' to my "Would you like to open the door" question, the door opens. I only want/need the door to open once. Any feedback?

I'm having a bit of trouble, I"m trying to figure out how I can make a door completely open by press of the 'Action' button. A sort of animation on the door opening. I'm using a RMXP 173-Door04 Stone looking door. It supplied all the opening sequences but I am asking how I might string them together to look as if the door was opening. I will take alternative methods (ex. Scripts) But i just want to know how I can make my door open.

Any and all feedback is appreciated.
 
...Rmxp's scripts are both and blessing and a curse. Everyone think they need scripts to do the simpliest of things nowadays...

Set move route: (The event)
Turn left
Wait: 02
Turn right
Wait:02
Turn up
Wait 02

You can also add a sound effect to make it more realistic.
Don't forget to stick a "Wait for move's completion" before the teleport command.

This way helped me none at all. I came up with my own method. (It may be the exact thing as yours, i don't know) But Now I'm having problems with every time I answer yes to the "Do you want to open the door" it opens. I want it to only ask me once and only open once. any help on this topic?
 
Just give the door event another page.  On that second page, have the transport player command, but not the question, and make the graphic the open door.  The second page will need the condition "Self Switch A is ON."

Now, in the branch where the player opens the door, turn Self Switch A ON. 

Is that clear?
