one of my tracks

I've been writing music for RMXP since 2006. Hopefully some of you can leave me some comments on how my stuff is going :P
I'm posting this here for constructive criticism. Please don't use this in your games without my permission! If you ask nicely, I'll probably give it ;)

This is actually the first track though that I have recorded using Finale 2008. Everything before this was done live using Sonar 6 and Sonar 7, and I haven't been 100% pleased with all of the results. This was intended to be a sort of wasteland theme. Final Fantasy fans will no doubt end up noticing my huge influences of Nobuo Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu when listenening to this track :p

Also note that this track is meant to loop, which is why it ends so abruptly.

Sorry I had to rapidshare it, I have no webspace at the moment >.<

Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated.

Alot of people (like me right now) can't ever get rapidshare to download.  It would be beneficial to both the listener and you if it was just on a site that streamed it instantly.  I'm sure there must be free sites that do that.

WOW, this is very beautiful. The piano just lends to to the mood. Um' only compliant is that the strings seemed kinda of chopped, besides that this song befits finding a new civilization perfectly. What program did you use for this, because the strings remind me of Squidfont Orchestral slightly!

I used Finale 2008, which is probably why the strings sound a bit chopped.
The strings are from Garritan Personal Orchestra.

It sounds like gagazet theme. And a bit like something from dark cloud 2. Great work.
The Mt. Gagazet theme was composed by Masashi Hamauzu :D
I vaguely remember playing Dark Cloud 2 -_-
