One Big Cup o' Cliches

The rules are as easy as pie:

• take a cliche and change it into an original phrase or statementlist]
• yes you actually have to think in a forum game oh dear
  
  A cliche is an overused phrase that has lost its originality the repetition. Ex:
  
  • its raining cats and dogs
  • Dont worry, be happy
  • A rolling stone gathers no moss
  
  So basically you are picking a cliche and changing it into something original. Ex:
  • Its raining cats and dogs - Tractors swept across the newly formed urban lake (not a very good example but still)
  
  The idea is to try and not use synonyms. Ex:
  • Dont Worry, be happy - Try not to fret, instead be joyous
  Its pretty much the same thing just with different words. Avoid this.
  
  Every rose has its thorn
  • One cliche per post
  • This isnt WOYM no useless bantering and chatting. Contribute.
  • Dont be a general idiot or funny guy because its annoying. I dont care if this is forum games or recroom.
  • Im not asking for perfection here, dont be afraid to post. Just dont be dumb for the sake of being dumb.

The idea is to take a cliche and just change it into an original phrase. Cliches are overused in much of writing and many detest this idea of using cliches, so the idea is to take a cliche and twist it into something original.

Another Example: (cliche) As Easy as Pie into (non-cliche) its simpler than the alphabet (terrible example im just too tired to think)
