Premise:
Good versus Evil. It's been the premise of an uncountable amount of stories. But what is the difference between Good and Evil? Is it morales, actions, beliefs? What if the line between good and evil were blurred? Could you tell the difference?

Omega Project plans to explore this line. You will be faced with many morale choices throughout the game, and your decisions will change the world around you. If given the choice to save a village, or acquire a weapon which will help you face obstacles to come, what would you do? Each choice you make along the way will determine the story. Perhaps a certain character will never reach the end of the game, or even a villiage, city, continent, or the world.

Omega Project will be telling a grand adventure through the eyes of many characters. Each character's own story will influence the ending of the game. You'll even get to play both sides of the conflict. Ever wonder what Golbez from FF2(4j) was up to in his off time? You'll have a chance to find out! (Not Golbez in particular though, sorry!) Imagine storming a castle with a troop of rebels, pushing the defenses back as you lead your troops forward. However, you may also have to play the defender and try to find a way to stop the rebel forces from invading. So you'll have a chance to see both sides of the conflict, and maybe find out that some evil scheme wasn't so bad after all.

Story:
Fate. Fate is a strange thing. Some run from it. Others seek it. Yet others yearn for ways to control it. Still others are just happy following along in fate's footsteps. Yet there are those, that knowingly or not, control their own fate, and the fate of those around them, with their actions. This is the story of not just one man's fate, but the fate of an entire world. But every story has to have a beginning, and this story begins with a young man named Dirge.

In the world of Lumoria, Dirge, a self proclaimed monster hunter, is having second thoughts about his profession. Hunting for him is sparse, for monsters havn't been seen in the world for years upon years. But fate has plans for him, and will lead him down a road which will lead him on a grand adventure. As he winds down from a days hunt, fate decides to spring her trap...

Meanwhile in the sprawling capitol city of Soria, Suede (Dirge's sister), has already found herself in the midst of an adventure. Soria has found a powerful artifact, and is seeking a way of controlling it's power. Suede has plans to foil their efforts, but we all know the best laid plans only last so long.

And unknown to them both, portals have been appearing around the world. Wherever they appear, destruction tends to follow. Where they lead is a mystery, as well as how they are coming to existance.

Features:
Branching Storyline: Play multiple characters, each with their own story, to form one grand adventure.
Player Choices: The choices you make along the way will shape the ending of the game
Multiple Endings: These will be based apon the decisions you make along the way
Custom Battlers and Portaits: Made using Poser and PSP
Strategy Play: Some battles will be fought using a strategy system (ala FF Tactics'ish)
Custom Battle System: Undecided on yet.
A large world and long story: Heck, maybe even one world won't be enough...

Characters
Suede: Born in a backwater town, Suede quickly grew tired of the slow country life. When she came of age, she jumped the first ship bound for Soria, leaving her brother behind. However life in the capitol city wasn't quite as she planned it to be. Beated and down trodden she took the the alleys and backroads, and soon found she had a knack for activities of the shadier sort.

Being bold, curious, and quick to act has landed her in trouble more than once. And lately, she's uncovered a plan that she intends to spoil.

Misc:
This project is in it's fledgling state! I've got a lot of work to do yet, hehehe.
If there is an issue with the game naming, let me know. As far as I could tell there isn't.
I will NOT be removing any of the planned features, though I may be adding.
The screenshots unfortunately are still using the default characters *sigh*.
Keep an eye out, I'll update this regularly.
Once I get further along, I may need some help in the form of artists, scripters, etc. I'm just one working man!

You might want to improve your mapping. You could always add trees, floor objects (flowers, grass etc)You can also add different lighting effects to your maps by the screen color tone option since color can sometimes create a certain atmosphere. e.g a nighttime scene And for the second screen with the campfire, choose another event graphic for the fire.
