Okay...lighting help...i know n00b question

alright im trying to make a cave map, and add lighting where the entraces between the diffrent part of the caves are ((i know unrealistic but oh well), also dont know how to darken the area either for the deep inside rooms within the cave)...anyways ive been using the earth cave map, and i cant figure out how to make this work...

Well, uh, I can't see what your image is. You could always have events use Change Screen Tone to darken the screen when the player is further from the entrance.
